Service Description
In this class , we will go over the following: Understanding Hair Types, The different hair types (straight, wavy, curly, coily) and how to work with each. Guide to clipper blades, guards, and attachments. Types of combs (cutting comb, tail comb) and brushes for different hair types. Importance of sectioning for precision cuts. Understanding hair follicles, shafts, cuticles, and how they affect cutting. Understanding Growth Patterns such as Cowlicks, natural partings, and growth direction. How to identify and work with varying densities and textures. Basic Sectioning Techniques Horizontal, vertical, and diagonal parting for balanced cutting. Cutting Techniques, Blunt Cutting, Straight-line cutting for bobs and classic cuts. Point Cutting, Softening edges for texture and movement. Adding layers and creating flow within the hair. Texturizing, How to remove bulk and create texture without losing length. Consultation and Client Communication, Understanding Client Needs,Listening to client expectations and translating them into the right cut. Face Shapes and Suitable Cuts, How to recommend styles based on face shapes (oval, round, square, etc.). Client Consultation Process, Important questions to ask, and how to analyze hair type and desired style. Managing Expectations, Ensuring realistic outcomes for clients based on their hair type and growth. Advanced Hair Cutting Techniques, Creative Hair Cutting, Asymmetry, avant-garde cuts, and modern, edgy styles. Precision Cutting, Mastering high-detail techniques for accuracy and clean lines. Clipper Over Comb, Fading techniques using clippers and comb to create seamless blends. Fading techniques with clippers and the guards. Product knowledge and different styling techniques with different sizes flat irons.. This class is offered on Mondays for 5 -7 hours on location.
Cancellation Policy
Sweetened By Honey Membership Policy Thank you for choosing a membership package to maintain your crown with love and consistency! Please review the following policies to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for both you and your stylist: Membership Terms Memberships are auto-renewed monthly unless paused or canceled at least 7 days before the next billing cycle. All services must be used within the month of activation and do not roll over into the next cycle. Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Scheduling & Late Arrivals Members are responsible for scheduling appointments in advance to secure desired time slots. A 10-minute grace period is allowed. After 10 minutes, your appointment may be shortened or rescheduled, and a $15 late fee may apply. Cancellations & Rescheduling Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in a $50 cancellation fee or forfeiture of the visit (based on package). No-shows will result in the loss of the scheduled session without refund or reschedule. One emergency reschedule per billing cycle is permitted at no charge. Pausing or Canceling Memberships Memberships can be paused for up to 30 days due to travel, illness, or emergencies—just email or DM your request. Cancellations must be made in writing (email, text) at least 7 days before renewal. Service Customizations Any service add-ons (deep treatments, color, head spa, etc.) not included in your plan will be charged separately at a discounted member rate. Membership services cannot be exchanged or gifted. By enrolling, you agree to honor these policies in mutual respect for your time, my craft, and the healing space we share.
